Video Marketing Strategies for Online MLM
Posted on May 15th, 2009 No commentsEffective video marketing for online MLM recruiting and product sales
If you don’t think that learning to use Video Marketing for your MLM business is a useful endeavor…think again. People love video and they REALLY love Youtube. Decades of TV infomercials have generated billions in sales. Your video sales page or video testimonial will often convert MUCH higher and better than text. It’s worth the time and effort to learn the ins and outs of this ‘video thing’.
Here are some beginner tips for video marketing:
1. Don’t be too lengthy with your presentation. Sales page and marketing videos should be about 2-4 minutes in length — no more. People have short attention spans, especially online. Remember that brevity is a GOOD thing.
2. Write out a small script ahead of time. If you are on camera, don’t look as though you are reading it. Just have it nearby to keep your thoughts flowing. You want to appear relaxed. You also want to provide good value, good information (teach them a quick marketing tidbit). So, you want to appear ‘ad hoc’. But in reality, you need to have something planned out (and written down).
3. Don’t want to be on camera? You can prepare an interesting slide show, set to music. Or you can log into your blog or online marketing system and discuss the features/benefits. People love to see some details and learn something that they did not know.
4. Post your videos on several of the top free video sites: Youtube.com, Viddler.com, Metacafe.com and Yahoo video.
5. Get into the habit of good keyword research for your videos. This will help with search engine optimization. You will place carefully selected words and phrases into the tags and headline.
